Privacy Policy

Poppins Finder stores your chosen city/coordinates in Chrome storage. It only reads product pages on Amazon and Fnac to show Poppins results. No personal data is sold or shared. Location is only used to show nearby listings.

This Privacy Policy explains how the Poppins Finder Chrome extension (the “Extension”) handles data. We designed the Extension to be privacy‑preserving and to use data only for the core functionality of showing nearby Poppins listings and an optional in‑extension mini‑game.

Summary

Data We Process

1) Location (optional, user‑initiated)

When you click “Use my location”, the browser may ask for permission to access your approximate location. If you grant permission, the Extension stores a latitude/longitude pair (and accuracy if available) in Chrome storage. This is used only to find relevant nearby Poppins listings. You can remove it at any time (see “Your Choices”).

2) Page information on supported sites

On Amazon and Fnac product pages, the Extension reads the product title or relevant identifiers on the page to create search keywords. The Extension does not read unrelated page content.

3) Network requests
